PE 103 - Tai Chi Originally created for both self-defense and health benefits, Tai Chi today is often practiced for health, meditation, stress reduction, and core strength training. It consists of sequences of movements performed at a slow and controlled pace. In this introductory course, students learn basic Tai Chi movements.
