A consideration of biological topics of current interest to society including genetic engineering, gene banks, the human genome project, in vitro fertilization, Mad Cow disease, and cloning.
Note: A student may not take BIO 109 and BIO 110 .
3 hours lecture a week 1 semester 3 credits.
