PSY 320 - Positive Psychology Positive Psychology is the scientific study of optimal human functioning. This course examines the theories and research associated with creating and maintaining psychological well-being. Students will engage in a critical and experiential analysis of key concepts found in Positive Psychology (e.g., happiness, life satisfaction, optimism, resilience, and wisdom) and its applications to everyday life.
Prerequisite: PSY 100 This course is applicable to the liberal arts requirements of the curriculum.
This course is applicable to the Quest for Meaning area of the core curriculum. 1 semester. 3 credits.
