CSED 548 - Second Language Acquisition and Literacy Development in Core Subject Areas for Second Language Learners
This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of linguistic concepts and American English grammar. It provides a theoretical basis for teaching grammar in context to English Language Learners. Students will obtain an understanding of the kinds of errors that English learners make, and they will be introduced to different approaches and practical techniques to modify instruction successfully to facilitate second language learning.
1 semester 3 credits. Fall.
