PSY 121 - Child Psychology And Development II (CS 102 )
A study of the patterns of physical, cognitive, social/emotional development of the child age two to adolescence, with emphasis on the preschool and middle childhood periods. Topics typically include theories and research applicable to the developmental sequences in cognition, play and peer relationships, parent/child relationships, pro-social and moral development, cross-cultural perspectives, and contemporary issues of concern: such as poverty, divorce and abduction. Not concurrent with CS 101 .
This course is applicable to the liberal arts requirements of the curriculum.
This course is applicable to the Self and Society requirements of the curriculum. 1 semester 3 credits.
