ENG 466 - Jewish Literature

Jewish Literature helps students to develop skills for the close reading and critical understanding of traditional Jewish literature through contemporary Jewish-American literature.  Both in-class discussions and student essays will provide opportunities for students to formulate original and analytic interpretations of the primary readings.  This course approaches reading, writing and thinking as interdependent skills that ground the interpretive process.  Because this is a seminar course, participation is critical.

1 semester 3 credits.
