SPC 228 - Acting I

An introduction to the principles of acting through a study of acting theory, techniques, and criticism. Through guided acting exercises, primary source readings, script analysis, and production reviews, the course explores the methods of Constantine Stanislavsky and Viola Spolin, and students develop an appreciation for acting as an art.

May not be taken by students who have taken SPC 132 .
