POL 280 - Constitutional Law


A study of the origin, theory, and interpretation of the United States Constitution. The course examines historical and contemporary controversies in areas such as the separation of powers, including conflicts among the presidency, Congress, and the Supreme Court; federalism and
conflicts between states and the federal government; and economic issues such as regulation, economic liberties, and property.
