CSA 900 - Intensive Supervised Practicum
This practicum is designed to provide students hands-on experience in implementing, evaluating, and participating in the development and revision of behavior analytically based instruction and related procedures for children with autism and other related disabilities. This practicum is individualized for each student to ensure that she/he benefits fully from the experience. Formal training should be accrued in approved service delivery settings (i.e., agency/school must have a site agreement with St. Joseph’s College). A Certified Licensed Behavior Analyst must deliver on-site supervision. The practicum curriculum meets the requirements set forth by NYS to become a Licensed Behavior Analyst and is aligned with the Fifth Edition Task List of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Students must complete a minimum of 150 hours of field experience at a site on the Approved Site list (see SJCNY ABA Portal page).
