CSED 549 - Supervised Student Teaching in a TESOL Setting (K-6, 7-12)
Observation and supervised practice teaching in a K-6 and 7-12 ESL classroom setting. Placements arranged to meet the requirements of TESOL certification in New York State. Students will have an opportunity to apply their knowledge of an actual ESL classroom and gain experience with a wide range of developmental levels. Student teachers will attend regularly scheduled seminars throughout the semester. They will be expected to maintain a reflective journal and demonstrate professional growth.
1 semester 3 credits. Spring.
