GMSC 502 - Accounting Component
This Managerial Enhanced Component course is designed to provide Graduate Management Studies (GMS) students with foundational knowledge and opportunities to apply principles associated with MGT 545 Financial Accounting & Analysis. Topics for the course include an overview of both financial and managerial accounting, review of financial statements, annual reports, regulatory bodies and ethical implications of accounting in all areas of business. This course will incorporate weekly assignments and examinations for all topic areas. Students will review the Annual 10-K report of a US based Company and analyze and understand the impacts of key financial ratios.
While this course carries graduate credit, it does not apply to the coursework and credits required for GMS degrees or Certificates. Pass/No Credit (with a C or better required).
