GMSC 504 - Economics Component
This Managerial Enhancement Component course is designed to provide Graduate Management Studies (GMS) students with foundational knowledge and opportunities to apply principles associated with MGT 662 Corporate Financial Management and MGT/OM 630 Managerial Economics. Topics for the course include economic foundations and models, market system dynamics, supply and demand, elasticity, technology/production/cost, competitive/monopolistic markets, and oligopoly and monopoly. With this foundation of principles and theories, students will solve economic optimization problems and apply these techniques to questions relevant to the economy.
While this course carries graduate credit, it does not apply to the coursework and credits required for GMS degrees or Certificates. Pass/No Credit (with a C or better required).
