BIO 150 - General Biology I


The course is designed to study the structure and function of living organisms at the cellular level. Connections between chemical structure and function are made. Biological processes examined include cellular respiration, photosynthesis, DNA and cell replication, genome organization and heredity, as well as protein synthesis. This course is required for majors. 

Prerequisite:  Take BIO-150L - Must be taken at the same time as this course
3 hours lecture and 3 hours lab per week 1 semester 4 credits.
