CSA 711 - Organizational Behavior Management: A Behavior Analytic Perspective

Organizational behavior management (OBM) utilizes the concepts and principles of behavior analysis to improve behaviors in the workplace and the work environment. The purpose of this course on OBM and performance management (PM) is to examine best practices in leading and managing employees and how to improve human performance in clinical, educational, and other organizational settings. Performance diagnostics, behavior-based safety, behavioral systems analysis, and effective staff training practices will be discussed. Students will utilize an OBM consultation model to conduct a functional assessment and offer interventions to improve performance issues as a semester project
