CSA 715 - ABA in Education and Behavioral Consultation

Behavior analysis has been applied in educational settings for over 60 years. The purpose of this course is to learn how to utilize a scientific, yet compassionate approach when designing, implementing, and evaluating instruction for students across all grades as well as how to support educational staff in a consultation model. The course will begin with a review of educational law and then deep dive into behavior analytic, best practices within classrooms. Students will have the opportunity to navigate the steps of the behavior consultation process through weekly assignments and a final consultation project.
