HS 471 - Practicum in Alcoholism & Addictions Counseling II
This supervised practicum offers students an opportunity to observe, practice and apply the theory and skills learned in the classroom in an OASAS licensed facility. All students are supervised by a credentialed field supervisor for alcoholism and addictions treatment, employed by the facility, and by the mentor coordinating the class. Portfolios are developed by all students during this course and any other field work for this major. This specific course includes 90 hours of field work.
