RS 205 - Religion And Ecology The goal of this course is for students to attain an understanding of Earth, its living creatures, and its life-giving system as a matter of religious faith and ethical concern. The course will draw on biblical texts, focusing on the Jewish-Christian traditions and world religions as they contribute to valuing the natural world. In dialogue with official church statements and with essays from first and third world theologians, students will examine the connections between ecological justice and social justice.
