CJ 324 - Research Methods in Criminal Justice A fundamental understanding of research design and data analysis in criminology and Criminal Justice. The course will examine quantitative and qualitative research methods (experimental design, quasi-experimental design, surveys, field research, secondary data analysis), types of data and measurement, probability, and sampling techniques.
Prerequisite: CJ 158 . Majors Only. This course is applicable to the liberal arts requirements of the curriculum. 3 hours a week. 1 semester. 3 credits. Fall and Spring.
