REC 280 - Therapeutic Recreation for The Physically Disabled This course will provide an overview of the role that therapeutic recreation services plays in meeting the needs of persons with physical disabilities. It will examine the causes, characteristics, and impairments of the major physical disabilities, such as plegia, cerebal-palsy, spinal cord injuries, etc. This course will focus on innovative program planning techniques and program ideas, program modifications and adaptations, and current issues and trends related to recreation for the disabled.
3 hours a week 1 semester 3 credits. Spring
