RS 206 - Religions of Abraham The three great monotheistic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam have a common origin in the biblical story of Abraham and his descendants. This couse will involve an in-depth study of the origins and development of these three religions as well as the points of convergence and divergence. Their historical, cultural, and spiritual traditions will be examined along with their role in the current world situation. Readings of representative scriptures and field observations at local mosques and synagogues will be expected.
