CHE 240 - Scientific Writing and Research An introduction to scientific literature, manuscript writing, and inquiry to develop the communication skills required for careers in science. Information literacy, critical reading and discussion, composition a scientific manuscript (abstract, introduction, methods, results and discussion), oral presentation, the peer review process, and practical application of the scientific method are included. This is the writing-intensive course for science majors.
Prerequisite: CHE 151 3 hours a week, one semester, Offered when there is sufficient student demand, 3 credits
