PHI 253 - Ancient Philosophy This course will introduce the important Greek and Roman Philosophers who established the basic foundations of early philosophical, scientific, and political thinking for the Western philosophical tradition. Readings will include the Pre-Socratics, Plato, Aristotle, the later ethical schools of philosophy and later Roman philosophers.
