PSY 316 - Statistics for Behavioral Sciences with Laboratory This course will examine concepts and applications of descriptive and inferential statistics in psychology and other behavioral science statistics. Topics include hypothesis testing, parametric and non-parametric statistical methods, correlation and regression, chi-square, t-tests and analysis of variance procedures. Students will be introduced to advanced statistical methods such as multiple regression and factorial ANOVAs. Lab will include application of statistical software (SPSS; Statistical Package for Social Sciences) to social science data including interpretation and presentations of statistical findings. Satisfies Psychology Statistics core requirement.
