HIS 313 - The First World War World War One is often portrayed as a significant turning point in world history, bringing an end to four hundred years of European global dominance and ushering in the tumultuous and often-brutal twentieth century. This course leads students to understand why the war occurred and its results, while detailing how its participants and its victims lived and died in the trenches and on the home front.
Prerequisite: HIS 102 or HIS 172 . 1 semester 3 credits.
