The MS in Cyber Security is an interdisciplinary degree integrating curriculum from three core areas; Criminal Justice, Math/CIT/Computer Science and Fraud Examination.  The MS in Cyber Security will focus on providing an advanced degree that combines a background in network security, cyber security, fraud examination and the criminal justice process.  The degree is intended for practitioners in Information Technology, Criminal Justice, and Fraud Examination and for students that want to embark on a career in these fields or for persons that want to consider a career change.  These components represent the evolving and melding of skill sets in crime, investigation, information technology and fraud examinations..

The MS in Cyber Security will require either a background in 15 credits in specific Math/CIT/Computer Science or similar courses at Saint Joseph’s University.
