English Adolescence Education, B.A. (SJC Brooklyn)

Core Courses:

Adolsecence Education:

• 42 credits in addition to those earned in ENG 103 - Writing for Effective Communication  - 3 credits
• Requirements are the same as English majors, but Adolescence Education majors are encouraged to take
  ENG 202
    , Literature and the Writing Process, as one of their electives.

Three Speech courses are required:

• SPC 102 - Introduction to Human Communication 3 credits.
• SPC 217 - Oral Interpretation of Literature 3 credits.

• SPC 115 - Voice and Diction 3 credits. or
• SPC 205 - Intercultural Communication 3 credits.
