Area of Concentration for Child Study Majors:
(30 credits with no more than 9 credits in 100 level courses): The following 12 credits are required to complete the concentration: The remaining credits can be any psychology elective.
Note(s):
PSY 150 is recommended for concentrates. Students who enter with PC-64 or PSY 214 from SCCC must substitute another 200 level PSY course for PSY 220 . Students who plan to go to graduate school for psychology are advised to complete , PSY 380 and PSY 392 as well. PSY 130 , PSY 170 and PSY 300 may not be applied toward a psychology area of concentration.
