Legal Studies Minor (SJC Brooklyn and SJC Long Island)

To encourage students to think critically about the process by which laws are passed, enforced, and interpreted and the direct impact said laws have on society at large. Further, students will be encouraged to consider the role that advocacy can play in altering the results and effects of laws on the individual. The Legal Studies minor is 18 credits and the maximum number of credits a student can take from any one discipline is 9 credits.
