Accounting, M.B.A.

M.B.A. in Accounting (36 credits)

This program is registered as a licensure-qualifying program with the New York State Education Department, Office of the Professions. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in accounting and management theory and practice and will benefit those individuals working in public or private accounting, taxation, governmental or not-for-profit accounting or consulting. Each course provides students with opportunities to apply course concepts to actual organizational or client issues. Students will work in teams throughout the program to replicate cross functional groups that are used in practice.

Undergraduate Prerequisites:


ACC 110 (Transfer Credit Only) or ACC 200

ACC 211, ACC 212, ACC 213, ACC 215, ACC 241, ACC 320, ACC 342, ACC 417. 

BUS 100, BUS 150, BUS 151 BUS 219, BUS 222.

COM 140 or COM 141 Waiver Exam Not Permitted.

ECO 120, ECO 226.
