In order to complete this Professional and Adult version of the Health Administration major, students must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, have post-secondary education and training, and have acquired, through experience, some of the skills and knowledge appropriate to the degree

A minimum of 21 credits with an HA identifier must be taken at St. Joseph’s University (MAT 151  may be applied toward this requirement).

The Department reserves the right to require an additional English writing course(s) at any point in a student’s program if deemed appropriate based on the student’s writing level.

Major Electives: 15 Credits


  • 6 credits from Health Administration offerings
  • 9 additional credits to be taken in Health Administration,  Human Services or related areas, or in courses applicable to the Management Certificate.

Liberal Arts Requirements: 60 Credits


Other Electives: 5 Credits


Total: 120 Credits
