The Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Technology is designed to prepare students to apply information technology within organizational contexts. Specifically, the program will focus on the development of technology infrastructures and systems and the use of these to acquire, deploy and manage information.

The Department reserves the right to require an additional English writing course(s) at any point in a student’s program if deemed appropriate based on the student’s writing level.

Prerequisite Computer Courses/Experience: 6 Credits


Elective Major Courses: 6 Credits


COM 141 Computer Applications II  and any COM course at 200 level or above.

Liberal Arts Electives: 28–31 Credits


Other Electives: 30-33 Credits


Total: 120 Credits (Effective students entering Fall 2015)
