Major:

All students who major in Chemistry must take the following courses:

• CHE 150 - General Chemistry I 5 credits.
• CHE 151 - General Chemistry II 5 credits.
• CHE 250 - Organic Chemistry I 5 credits.
• CHE 251 - Organic Chemistry II 5 credits.
• CHE 260 - Analytical Chemistry 4 credits.
• CHE 302 - Thermodynamics and Chemical Kinetics 4 credits.
• CHE 450 - Seminar in Chemistry 1 credit.
• CHE 460 - Senior Project 3 credits for the year granted in the second semester.
• MAT 205 - Calculus and Analytic Geometry I 4 credits.
• MAT 206 - Calculus and Analytic Geometry II 4 credits.
• PHY 150 - General Physics I 4 credits.
• PHY 151 - General Physics II 4 credits.

Note(s):

A minimum grade of C is required CHE 150  and CHE 151  before the declaration of a major. A minimum grade of C is necessary in each course required for the major in order to continue as a major.
