Students will receive a strong foundation in marketing management and leadership abilities that contribute to a manager’s effectiveness, ethical decision making and team management practices.
Students will apply in the last semester of their junior year. Qualified students who are accepted to the 5- year program will enroll in two graduate courses in the first semester of their senior year and two graduate courses in the second semester of their senior year. These four courses will count as business electives or general electives at the undergraduate level and incur no extra tuition beyond the regular undergraduate tuition. The remaining eight graduate courses will be completed after students have earned their bachelor’s degrees. Also Available Online. Undergraduates are eligible for admission to the dual degree program after completing 90 credits, 21 of which must be completed at St. Joseph’s University and an overall and major GPA of 3.0.
Admissions requirements:
- Overall and major GPA of 3.0
- Completion of the following courses with a grade of C or better:
- ACC 200 (completed within the past 10 years)
- BUS 100 or BUS 130 or HA 481
- MAT 151 or BUS 222
- COM 141
- MKT 200
- BUS/ECO 120 or BUS/ ECO 226 or HA 496
- LIB 100
- No record of academic dishonesty or plagiarism
- Submission of all graduate application documents
Undergraduate students who have been accepted to the 5-year degree program must complete 4 graduate courses as noted below while an undergraduate. These courses may satisfy major and/or general elective requirements, and MGT 500 will satisfy one of the two required courses in the Writing Intensive Integrated Learning Area of the Core Curriculum.
