Health Administration, B.S./MBA in Health Care Management, (SJNY Brooklyn and SJNY Long Island)

Students will apply in the last semester of their junior year. Qualified students who are accepted to the 5-year program will then enroll in two graduate courses in the first semester of their senior year and two graduate courses in the second semester of their senior year. These four courses may count as major and/or general elective requirements at the undergraduate level, and incur no extra tuition beyond the regular undergraduate tuition. Upon undergraduate graduation, the student will complete the remaining eight graduate courses for the Graduate degree. Undergraduates are eligible for admission to the dual degree program after completing 90 credits, 21 of which must be completed at St. Joseph’s University and an overall and major GPA of 3.0. Current work experience in health care is required.

Applicants are required to complete (as part of the 90 credits) the following courses with a grade of C or better:

  • COM 141 or HA 493
  • HA 430
  • HA 481 or NU 431
  • HA 496
  • MAT 151 or BUS 222

Undergraduate students pursuing a 5-year dual degree program can complete 4 graduate courses as noted below while an undergraduate. These courses may satisfy major and/or general elective requirements.
