The Health Admnistration Department offers two certificate programs: a 15 credit Health Care Administration Certificate (currently called Health Care Management) and a 15 credit Hospice Certificate.Certificate programs in healthcare administration are designed to provide education and training to individuals who seek additional management and leadership training in the healthcare administration field. The certificates are designed for individuals who would like to explore a career in healthcare administration, some candidates may already have a graduate degree, but need to develop specific healthcare management skills, others may wish to enroll in a selected set of undergraduate healthcare administration courses to meet a specific need in their career development. The certificate programs will provide both sets of students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in health care admininstration.
