The M.B.A. in Health Care Management degree is designed for working adults seeking to advance to a senior managerial position in the health care industry. The M.B.A. provides a comprehensive business education that emphasizes the financial, legal, regulatory, managerial, political, social and historical aspects of health care while also focusing on current issues. Throughout the curriculum, the program supports the development of specific managerial abilities needed to succeed in a complex and evolving health care environment. Each course has a self-directed managerial applications component that addresses an appropriate, student identified issue/problem/task within an actual health care environment.
