Major: 33 credits
In keeping with the liberal arts tradition of the College, a general major is offered with courses selected from the arts and sciences of Speech Communication. Required Courses
The following courses are required to complete the major: Electives
24 credits selected from the entire range offered and with departmental guidance according to the student’s interests and needs. Bilingual Option
Students may choose to major in Speech Communication and minor in Spanish in order to develop bilingual skill. Six courses in Spanish will be completed with advisement from the Department of Modern Languages; the emphasis should be on grammar, composition, and conversation. Speech-Language Pathology
