BIO 151 - General Biology II


A continuation of BIO 150 . The course will encompass the study and comparison of plant and animal structure and function in the context of systems biology. Emphasis will be made on animal systems biology and general function. Topics include development and cellular signaling followed by processes exercised within organisms, such as nutrient attainment, gas exchange, transport within the organism, fluid regulation, hormone control in development and vertebrate reproduction.

Prerequisite:  BIO 150  Must be completed prior to taking this course.
  BIO-151L - Must be taken at the same time as this course
